I USED to be a faithful customer of the plus size online store of Woman Within. They had great clothes for the plus sized gal and great prices. I bought hundreds of dollars worth of clothing for me and my mother. Well, a recent order changed all that and it was all over the simplest thing. My last order included some underwear and when I received the items in the mail I took everything out and found one of the bras I had ordered was missing. Instead, they had shipped someone's shirt. Well, I was upset and emailed them and they told me to return it and that my bra would be shipped as soon as they got the wrong item. I did that and expected to receive my periwinkle leisure bra soon but kept waiting and waiting. I checked their website and they listed the item as received so I emailed them again. I kept emailing them and every response was an automated cookie cutter response. I never once heard from a real person. A manager sometimes addressed it but it was always the same, how they were sorry for the trouble and they would solve it shortly and all that. So I emailed them and they finally told me the bra was on its way. WRONG!!! I waited and waited and finally got so angry that I told them off in email begging to speak to someone without a hard drive. I never did. They told me they had no record of my requesting the bra and that I should have wrote it on the back of the return form which no one had told me to do prior to my mailing it back. Then they had to audacity to tell me that they would have to reorder it and that I would have to place another order! I even phoned them but got a rude rep instead. I was completely baffled by their refusal to send out the item that I had ordered. They were implying that it was somehow my fault and that I had to fix it. I sent the wrong item back to them and time and time again they refused to send me the correct item. They credited my charge account for the thing but they made such a to do over one little item that it boggles the mind! It was only a 14.00 leisure bra not a car or a laptop. I finally told them to shove it and to take me off their mailing list. I did not receive an apology or speak to a real person during all this. It makes me wonder if there are any working at all. My advice, don't have anything to do with these people! They have crummy customer service, their prices are a little steep and the discounts they offer aren't worth all the crap they sell. And all this over a little bit of nylon and spandex!!!!
