I ordered one laptop battery and received an email from customerservice@laptopbatterydepot.com confirming the order. Two days later I received three emails from customersupport@laptopbatterydepot.com with all 3 saying that my order had been shipped and my credit card charged. I had ordered, and paid, for 1-2 day shipping as reflected on all 4 emails.

Ten days later, I still had not received my battery. Two emails I sent were not answered. The website does not show a customer service number, only a sales number. I finally called the sales number and talked with a man who identified himself as "Joe", though he stumbled over his name.

I told him about my missing order and gave him my order number. He first said that my order had been "back ordered" as was going out today. I repeated that I have received 3 emails saying it had been shipped 10 days prior. Joe said that the emails shouldn't have been sent. I told him that the emails also said that my card hard been charged for which he didn't give a reply.

When I asked that the shipment was going out today, Joe said that they should receive the back ordered batteries today or tomorrow and the order should ship soon after. I asked how much after. Joe then said that they might not receive the back ordered batteries for "5 or so days". I reminded him that I'd already been charged. Joe offered to refund my money, which I accepted. I asked when the refund would be processed and he said today.

I have ZERO hope that the refund will be processed and confident that I will have to dispute it with the credit card company.

Good Experience With Laptop Battery Depot

AUTHOR: Geoff - (U.S.A.)

I recently ordered a battery for my Dell laptop from Laptop Battery Depot. As sometimes happens with lithium ion batteries no matter who the manufacturer is, the first battery would not take a full charge. I contacted Laptop Battery Depot and was given instructions for returning the defective battery. The replacement battery took a full 100% charge on the first charging and is functioning just fine. The replacement battery from Laptop Battery Depot was approximately half the cost of ordering a replacement battery from Dell and came with a 45 day money back guarantee and a 2-YEAR warranty. (By contrast, Dell only offers a limited one-year warranty on their replacement batteries... understandable since the battery that came with my Dell lasted just slightly over a year, about a month after its warranty had expired.)

All in all, I am VERY satisfied with Laptop Battery Depot's customer service. Joe (see previous rebuttal) was especially helpful and I am very grateful for his kind assistance. I would not hesitate to recommend Laptop Battery Depot to anyone looking for a quality replacement battery at an affordable price.

We made a full refund

AUTHOR: Customer Support - (U.S.A.)

I am Joe with laptopbatterydepot.com.

Our computer system made a mistake when sending off the email about the shipping. That is why he received multiple emails. We fixed that part of the system. Our backorder system has been completely revamped. We apologized to Donald and gave him a full refund. The refund was done immediately.

Companies do make mistakes. As soon as Donald got a hold of us we took care of the problem immediately. We are a trustworthy company and stand behind our product and our word. It is not if a company will make a mistake, but how they handle their mistakes.

Donald is incorrect in stating that we will not refund his Credit Card. The refund went through immediately.
