Las Vegas Athletic Club Faulty Contracts and sharks for your money Las Vegas Nevada

My wife and I signed a contract through the Las Vegas Athletic Club for a membership. We were told that if we left Las Vegas we could suspend the membership till we came back. They continually harrased me for a payment even though I had already requested a temporary suspension of the contract. She was pregnant and we were having the baby in another state. When then found out they put the whole cost of the membership on our credit even though the contract doesnt expire till late 2010. They then would not work with us on payment arrangements and wanted the full cost of the contract. They also told me as quoted by patty sandoval that until I payed I lose every month until then. So they want full payment, but my gym membership time still runs and I lose the year or so until I can come up with the money. Then patty told me every $100 I pay I would get a three day pass!!! I asked to speak to her manager and of course she refused.. Stating she is the head boss and no one is over her. She then compared it to buying a car saying my membership had been reposessed and I couldn't use it but I still owe the full amount. These people are a ripoff and you should go 24 hour fitness or any other gym. I have been working out for 15 years and never had a problem with any gym membership or temporarily suspending my membership. The customer service was horrible and though I will say the gym and personel on sight is great the customer service and supposed collectionis are a rip off>>>>
