We Upgraded the Course

Richard's complaint is a bit incoherent but he is upset about the price increase on a real estate investing course we publish. We've corresponded with him previously via our company support desk and one other public outlet.
As my support rep, Jade explained to Richard we have significantly changed the offer for the Master Lease Option Method program. Previously, it was just the video-based training modules. And was offered for $197 for about 7 years.
At the end of October 2017, after warning my subscribers via email for about 6 months that this was going to happen, I updated and re-recorded all of the video-based training modules, added a proprietary software and 6-months of coaching to the program, and increased the price to $997.
Because we warned our subscribers (Richard included) that this was happening and encouraged them to buy BEFORE the price increase (which he did not), I'm not making any exceptions to the new pricing for the significantly upgraded program for people who waited to purchase.
I'm sorry that Richard is upset but we've done absolutely nothing to warrant this complaint.
As an aside, Richard had purchased another program of ours on the same day as making his complaint to us directly and on various other public forums and I proactively voided that purchase. We pride ourselves on the relationship we have with our subscribers and at this point, I feel that Richard would be better served by another company.
