Latta Real Estate Latta Homes witheld security deposit, shoddy property, shady management Blue Springs, Missouri

We moved across the country, and arrived to our rental house to find random furniture left over, and NO refrigerator! (which had been promised) 
We called and they said they'd get it to us, for 3 days we kept our food in a cooler with ice until finally someone brought it. We lived there for a year  and a half, were ideal tenants, never late on rent, making improvements, etc. 
When we moved we left the etagere and large dresser in the basement, as they had been there when we moved in. The house was spotless and in great condition. 
A few weeks later, we were shocked to receive a bill for over 800 dollars for various damages (stuff like window screens, which were in the same condition as move-in and documented) and haul-away charges for THEIR furniture. 

It's been 2 years and we still have not resolved it or gotten our deposit back. DON'T rent from these guys.
