This attorney was suspended previously for Moral Turpitude (LYING to a Client). He did not learn his lesson - for he continues to do so on a daily basis. However, he has also moved up the ladder to lying to the Courts, lying to the State Bar, lying to anyone who asks him a question.
If he is appointed as Minor's Counsel on your case - make an immediate motion to have him removed from your case. He will lie and manipulate to get the outcome of the case that he wants - and I have yet to see where he wants to see a mother be in their child's life. He may have in the past - but none that anyone locally has ever heard of.
He took custody of his own grandchildren because he disagreed with his son's religious training of the child!
Mr. Spiller loves to act as though he is a Judge - he is just merely an attorney. He likes to think that he knows the law... he does, but only how to manipulate the law to hide his true crimes of perjury, slander and intentionally misrepresenting false information to the courts.
He also will overbill you - he loves money more than he loves anything and he will misbill you intentionally. God forbid you should want to question your bills.... he will say you have no right to view his billing.
RUN far far away from this man. I can't even call him a human being - because most human beings have some empathy and compassion in them for children - yet he appears to not care the slightest about tearing children from loving protective families and placing them with people who will abuse them and hurt them.
As Mr. Spiller once said "I sleep well at night". Yes, Mr. Spiller... so did Dracula. That doesn't mean I want him to represent the best interests of my child.

I could not agree more! The threats, demands, advances and innapropriateness of Mr. Spillers behavior should be investigated! He uses his position of power is clear that his legal interpretation is "the law". I questioned an action (or lack there off) and that was the worst thing I could have done. He retaliated with an attack and has not backed down since.
His obbession with Star Wars is creepy! Theres a word for a grown person who uses toys and child movies to apeal to children.
Durring our meetings we all experience Mr. Spiller stop dead in the middle of a conversation to greet every women who walked by in the courtyard. Instead of being present and focused on the chyild he would upruptly lose focus, stop, greet the women and then watch her walk inside as my kids sat there and stared at them.
Lets not talk about how he throws around his celebrity clientelle names around as proof of how big he is. We heard it all!!! He represents Michael Jacksons kids, Snoops kids and the list goes on and on. So much for confidentiality.
Meetings are 50% about him and 50% about love for Star Wars. Be prepaired to be quized on the charachters. The whole vibe is weird!!!
Oh and dont worry you will never see a bill or know how much the hourly fees are!

This scumbag is minors council for my case and he is doing the same thing to me, lies, manipulation, stalling the case for money and withholding evidence from the court. I fear he has recruited additional cronies to assist him such as attorney Randy Medina (Pasadena, CA) and therapist Kim Navarro (Cerritos, CA). We need to get this scumbag disbarred ASAP!!! I hope there's a special place in hell for this scumbag.
