This service, while looking good on the service, is a huge waste of time and money. Perhaps if someone has no complications or changes in their life situation the system will work, but I guess that usually people with no issues won't find themselves wanting this type of service.

Everything seemed like a great idea at the start. They were going to help reduce a tax debt of over $10,000 to AS LOW AS $500, based on my situation. However, the process takes so long, and their internal communication is so poor that by the time they were even close to filing an Offer in Compromise for me, my eligibility was now no less than $2,854, plus the $2,500 I had paid as a service fee.

Although this is still about half of what I owed, the Offer amount that they came to was artificially high due to mistakes and inaccuracies on their part despite numerous conversations and written correspondeces that were extremely clear. When I pointed out their mistakes, they first argued that they were not wrong, and then provided little assistance in correcting the situations.

When I was finally able to get the mistakes corrected a total of about 2.5 years had passed and my personal situation had improved to such a point that I was no longer eligible to receive their assistance.

Long story short, I paid them $2,500 in order to receive no assistance, delay the process for enough time to incur significant additional debt in fees and penalties and not even be able to attempt an acceptable resolution.

In addition, on two occasions when I wrote to complain, they decided that I was requesting cancellation, which I was not, which created additional issues for me with the IRS and they will not provide even a partial refund in recompense for their lack of service. I am now suing them.

With all of these complaints, she has not history of disciplinary action with the California State Bar. Any time you have a complaint against a lawyer for unprofessional conduct, report it to the state bar. If there enough complaints, I can assure that the state bar will give priority to looking at that attorney's actions.

Also, you might consider a small claims action to get your fees back. I don't know the small claims limit in your state, but it is worth a try.

It really baffles me to see so many complaints and no settlements like Roni says on T.V. "I'll settle your case for only 20 dollars, thats 20 DOLLARS!!!". What that really is, is a load of CRAP! How are these people complaining so adamantly when you are the best place to work for? (or so Scott, Matt, Greg, etc...would have us all out here in cyberspace believe.) There is a greater number of people that have NEVER heard of RipoffReport.com and will sadly NEVER be heard about the practices of this law firm.

These people would rather find out who and what the ex-employees are saying about them, trying to shut them up rather than satisfy a customer base of thousands who are the ones that really need the help. The responses that I have seen on this site are all true and have all come to pass due to the horrific, blatant lying that this law firm has come to be known for.

Roni herself does NOT get in your face and lie to you, she actually delegates that responsibility to Greg, Steve, Russ, Matt, Shawn, Michael, or any other person she has left in charge of for the day..... She does however come into the sales floor and rip everyone a new rectal orifice when she sees fit to.

A very good point to take notice of is what this person says about "Internal Communications" it is piss poor, even the current employees think so. You have someone who is trained to sell by Russ and Steve telling a potential client about services, and painting a "pie in the sky" senario, then you have a client service rep slapping them in the face telling them that the "salesperson" was honest with you and you cannot possibly be telling the truth about what you were told from one day to the next. Next you have that very same "salesperson" lying about what they told someone when they knew full well that they told the client a varied number of lies trying to make the sale. All the while getting threatened, harrassed, and badgered by the collections department (Scott).

The next problem is trying to talk to the actual attorney that is discussing YOUR case with the I.R.S., they make a decision on you, and form letter you to death until you give up or sue, just like this person says he is doing as well.


There is no defence against the truth, and if someone would actually take the time to read what all of these ripped off clients of Roni's are saying, they would get a clear idea of whats going on in this firm.

Again, I am telling this firm; People come to you for HELP, they are already afraid and need someone to tell them the truth, not lie to them, take their money, and for all their efforts end up with Scott up their asses like they owe him some money! Settle your collective arses down Roni and really do what you say you are doing for them.......and for God's sake slap a chain on Scott and all of his tripped out "holier than thou" attitudes he shares with your clients on a regular basis.

Lastly, it does NOT take a year and a half to submit an Offer in Compromise!!! I personally know 3-5 clients of yours who either have NOT gotten their offers even sent in yet (over 3 years now) or ones that are pissed off at you as you have done NOTHING but give them the run around for 2 or more years. I try to tell them to keep positive but, you are shooting yourself in the foot by not helping them, like you are so great and they are slime. Get it together people.
