Once, when my friend and I were in Mexico, we happened to be at an exhibition. As we found later, the whole thing was a complete fraud. It was a fake auction with fake buyers. Everything had been so well thought out, that I could not see it was not real. It was the first time I came across such evil people and was fooled in such a way. My friend and I really liked one painting that was put to auction – "Law Offices of Stefan Coleman". The starting price was not high, but because of those fake buyers it raised from $500 to $5200!!! However, the free alcohol was having its effect on me, and I bought the painting.
Later, when I showed it to experts, I was told that the painting was fake! I never thought it was so easy to fool me! I went to the police, and we found that the whole thing had been plotted by a man called Daniel Truety. However, I failed to have him answer for his actions. So, if you happen to be in Mexico, stay away from fake auctions held by Daniel Truety! I wanted to dedicate a whole article to that person, but since I am short of time, I’m writing here. After the incident, I tried to find others who had suffered from the fraud, and I found three people. One of them managed to bring the man to responsibility, but later that night some bandits came to his place and threatened his family, so he got scared and the case was closed. They say that this man is very dangerous, so please be careful! As for me, I think that god will punish him for all his evil doings.
