We filed a lawsuit and negotiated for a long period with the lender. The lender was not desirous of a settlement and the client refused to respond to us, or to make payment to continue litigation past the contracted services. We fully performed our contract and worked hard to help this person, even though they made it almost impossible to reach them. When it became necessary to discuss a short sale, we referred them to a real estate company.
