Recently I purchased a vehicle from Lawley automotive which I paid cash 10,000 .The salesman Eric was unfriendly unproffessional and gave the impression that because I was'nt wearing a suit and tie I was just a browser of course he did'nt know I was paying cash. After purchasing the car I paid cash for a two year full coverage mechanicle warranty with no deductable which cost 1,200. My complaint is this , Lawleys automotive pay's a 100 dollar recomendation fee which was owed to my sister whom in the past has sent four other buyers to Lawleys automotive . It took four visits to the dealership the last two in a not so pleasant mood. this branch of Lawley automotive is seperate from the main branch I asked to speak to Shaun Lawley so I could express my displeasure I was told he does not show up anymore, how convienent. The fourth visit I was told to go to the main branch for my check there I was informed that they knew nothing about it but would go ahead and cut the 100.0 dollar check you'd think after dropping eleven thousand two hundred dollars that a measly hundred bucks would be no problem all this took place over a two month period. Also when I took the car in for a checkup I was told there would be A 100 dollar service fee, No way , Lie after lie . Prior to paying for the warrantythe finance Mgr. called my 82 yr old mothers phone and rudly told her that if I didnt come down to the dealership by noon the deal was off and hung up in her ear. I cannot tell you what I felt like doing . Off course the owner of the dealership could care less Shawn Lawley's dealerships includes cadillac ,chevrolet, ford, kia, lincoln mercury, nissan and honda can you say monoply. Shawn Lawley's lack of intrest in the dealerships has spawned rude uncontrolled behavior amongst the staff to include the salesmanager who displayed total lack of interest in a paying customer when I inquired about the 100 dollar check he would'nt even look up from his ever so important lunch .I will never refer anyone to Lawley automotive and I am putting a opinion of Lawley automotive in the local paper and discourage future buyers
Cadillac, Honda, Nissan Ford, Lincoln Mercuryand Kia. Some would call this a monopoly,

Lawley - it is Sierra Vista

It is unfortunate, but this is where we live. Lawley has long ago been crossed off of my list of companies to patronize. I haven't actually met anyone that bought their vehicle there. I suspect they make their money off of the joes rotating through the base and could care less about the locals.
By the way, Lawley always tries to get you to pay a "diagnostic fee" or other service related grift. I tried to take my Ford there for warranty service and they tried that diagnostic garbage on me. When I told them none of the Tucson dealerships charge the fake fee, the response from the service manager was, "I worked at a Tucson Ford dealer for ten years and we always charged a diagnostic fee." I'm not sure which dealership he worked with, but it wasn't either of the two to which I've taken my vehicle in the past.
Don't waste your time in Sierra Vista - take the trip to Tucson. Better yet would be to save the diagnostic fee, take a weekend in Phoenix and enjoy yourself while buying from a dealer that's completely dependent upon the locals.
