Lazare Kia ran my credit 3 times and called me a liar!! Albany, New York

I was referred to Lazare Kia this summer and it was a complete nightmare. I was made to wait about 4 hours into the evening to get a figure on what I would be paying monthly on a 2010 model car. Within this time, I advised him my credit was light, but I was uneasy about bringing on the only co-signer I had available, because she had just applied for a rather large car loan herself and wasn't sure if her credit should be run so soon. The sales person advised me of two things at this point: First, my co-signer probably would not have to have her credit run as her income is rather high and secondly, I need a co-signer because of my age. When he came back with the figure I could get, it was quite low and I was very pleased, so I signed the initial paperwork. I had to arrange for my trade-in to be picked up, so it was worked out I'd finish up the paperwork the next morning and give him the final decision on how we were gonna arrange the switch.

When I returned the next morning, I was made to wait nearly 4 more hours while the sales person "talked to his finance guy". I was quite confused, as he had "talked to his finance guy" last night to give me the monthly payment on the new car. When his finance guy was done, the payment was disclosed to me as nearly twice the original figure and he had run my credit and my co-signer's credit 3 times in a row. I was fairly angry over this to which he replied, "Don't worry, running it won't hurt anything."
I've been in the banking industry for 3 years and it was a blatant lie to tell me that 3 hard hits to my credit wouldn't hurt anything. They ruined my chances of looking for another car that day, most likely because they assumed I was a sucker and would fall for a bait and switch.

I declined the outrageous raise in price because it was about $125 more than what I advised him I could afford each month and asked to speak to a manager. I was told by the manager that it wasn't his fault I have what he thought was bad credit and refused to admit any sort of deal was previously made. I was called a liar when I told the sales person that I told him about my light credit, but then when I asked for the sales person's original notes, he had written it down. He had also written down the offer and had me sign underneath it.

I left, quite upset, but returned later that day, looking to get copies of all the paperwork I had signed because he told me I can't have all the original documents because they keep them on file for 7 years. The manager was incredibly cold to me and refused to give me Kia's corporate number or the owner's number. He told me, "I don't work for you." No problem, I said and then immediately went next door to Lazare Mercury and got the owner's number in less than a minute.
Lazare Kia obviously thought that because I'm a young woman that they could do a little switcheroo on me and not expect me to get angry.
