Listen my fellow FILIPINOS,

I've been using LBC money remittance service every month even though they tend to deliver 2 or 3 days late often even if they said it should only take 3-4 days to deliver. Since they are the only money remittance service near my home I put up with them but this last transaction was the worst and made me angry.

The money for my ailing elderly parents hasn't been delivered and it's more than 11 days now. They said that it'll only take 3 -4 days for delivery. This money is for medicine and food yet they are not true to their promised advertisement.

Please see their website...
http://www.teamlbc.com/index.html and let me quote what they said here..."LBC sets high service standards to ensure the security of your money because we know how hard you have worked for it and that your family's well-being depends on it. With our money remittance services, your money is guaranteed to reach your loved-ones". "Simple reasons to try LBC ...Because we deliver. LBCs adherence to the principle of time-sensitive service has been unwavering. Every transaction is seen as an honored contract and commitment to be fulfilled as promised."

Yeah right, LBC lied and doesn't follow their own advertisement, shame on you. You'll probably deliver when my ailing parents are passed out from starvation. SHAME, SHAME!

Here is why I'm more pissed... this is written on the back of the reciept, "You, the customer are entitled to a refund of the money to be transmitted as the result of this agreement if LBC mundial Corporation does not forward the money received from you within 10 days of the date of its receipt. If you want a refund, you must mail or deliver your written request to LBC Mundial Corporation at (address stated). If you do not recieve your refund, you may be entitled to your money back plus a penalty up to $1,000 and the attoney's fees pursuant to section 1810 of ca. financial code"

What a bunch of a~sHo~le. They keep your money, you paid for the service and the only consolation you might get is a refund, after you go through hell. And oh, you might get $1000 plus attorneys fee if you didn't recieve your refund, (like they wouldn't give you refund if you asked for it after 10 days). What a bunch of l@sers, d**n right you should give me refund cause it's my money. That is such a light penalty for this kind of business. That's not a penalty at all. It's the reason why they are not doing their promised job because of the very light penalty. They won't take care and finished the transaction on time unless you call them. 11 days is such a long delay for this very important transaction, very rude and unprofessional.

I just called them, after 8 minutes of being on hold, all they said was "sorry, we'll call the Manila office. I'm not even gonna ask for refund because it's been delayed already and my parents badly need the money. I'll be reporting them to BBB. Shame on you LBC, I suggest you change your motto to "MONEY OVER INTEGRITY", never again!!!!

I'm calling anyone who have had thesame experience with LBC to voice your complaints.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
