Leaders is the most dishonest, manipulative & thieving company I have ever dealt with. We signed up with Leaders in 2007 after being promised good rates no out of pocket expenses etc,..Month 3 we were charged $99 out of our account..which the woman who set up our account never bothered to mention nor were we ever billed for. It just showed up out of our account. I called up asked what it was..very rudely spoken to & was told several times its in your contract..I ask where? They don't even know.." its on page 2 of your signed contract. " I find it not where the Schedule of fees are but in the small print talking about American Express & Discover card fees..which we didn't accept anyways so I thought it didn't apply. I had to fight very hard and leave several messages to get our $99 back in our account which it took 3 weeks for them to do.."because they only do refunds once a month"

So months go by we get letters stating our fees are going up..so our signed contract with the fees quoted to us are no longer valid. Then a monthly $10.30 customer service fee suddenly shows up coming out of our account monthly which in our contract it said $0 customer service charge. Again not on our monthly statement..So how do you keep track of all this money trickling out of your account. You have to be a blood houndl scouring your online bank account daily. Our 1 year contract is coming to an end..finally we can shake these thieving leeches...NOPE, we are locked into a 2 yr agreement with a $350 early termination fee....Liza Maya told us 1 year...but look its in the microscopic print on the contract they give you AFTER you sign the initial contract yes it comes with your equipment.. The REAL CONTRACT...BEWARE.

I really hate this company so we are sucked into another year..they did sop charging the monthly customer fee because it wasn't on my contract..

NOW my 2 YEAR CONTRACT is up MAY 2009. I send a letter 30 days prior which it states in my contract to do to cancel my contract. It is sent April 2009 certified stating I would like to cancel my contract with this company as of my renewal date in May of 2009. FINALLY DONE! NOPE....I go to my bank account online the other day and $250 is taken out of my account..EARLY TERMINATION FEE....UGHHH. I did everything I was supposed to do but they can twist it any way they want to suck more money out of you.. They cancelled our contract the day the letter was received...1 month early to renewal date..Hmmm how convenient to request 30 day notice for cancellation..They win either way. Didn't get it within 30 days...sorry your new year has already renewed...got it 30 days prior to renewal..sorry Early termination FEE.

So I call Leaders again spoke to 4 different people (Phone Pinball) One man told me he didn't like my sigh or my tone. Finally I speak to Phoebe who basically says she's doing me a favor in returning our money. I ask when it will be returned? She says they only do refunds once a month. I say I want it back in our account within the week. She says rudely "Well do you want your money or not?" "I don't have to give this back to you."

Still waiting for our refund....

LEADERS Merchant Services would like to apologize to this merchant for his experience with our company. We at LEADERS Merchant Services take pride in providing all merchants with superior customer services and to hear a complaint such as this is truly disheartening.

LEADERS has reviewed this merchant's account and would like to point out that the fax cover sheet sent with all applications clearly states, We recommend that you carefully review all of the materials we provide to you to ensure your understanding of our fees, terms and conditions. It is clear from this merchant's complaint that he did not review his contract as LEADERS had strongly recommended. The Leaders Merchant Processing Agreement does, in fact, state the length of term for each contract in the second paragraph of the Personal Guaranty (page 3 of 4). The merchant did not indicate to LEADERS that there were any errors on his application prior to signing it and sending it back for approval. LEADERS processed this application as described. Per this merchant's contract, LEADERS may change the rates and fees with a 30 day written notice. This merchant was notified of these augmented fees on his February 2008 merchant processing statement.
LEADERS refunded the $250.00 Early Termination fee on 7/1/09 and has closed this merchant's account per his request.

Once again, LEADERS would like to take this time to apologize to the merchant for his experience with our company and we would like to wish him well in all future endeavors.
