I submit that Leads2Results attempted to deceived us to profit from his "leads" practice. I contacted Leads2Results who advertise themselves as a lead generating company for our industry. I spoke with the sales manager, Micah Lee prior and he assured me that the leads would be valid and appropriate for our industry so I agreed to give it a try.

I cancelled our agreement per the terms of the contract shortly after I discovered that none of the “leads” were valid. I was told that the leads I returned would be credited to my account. This was discussed with Micah prior to my signing his contract and he assured me that if a lead did not meet our requirement that we could send it back for a replacement. We sent all of the leads back since none met our requirements and did not receive any replacements.

I contend all of Leads2Results leads are invalid (or “bogus” as the contract says) because:

(1)  None of the contacts provided to us desired our service nor expressed any interest whatsoever when I spoke with them – despite Leads2Results reference of the contrary. It is generally accepted that in order to qualify as a sales lead, the prospect must express an interest in a service or product, must be open and available to hear a sales pitch about the service or product and must be authorized to make a decision about obtaining such service or product. There was absolutely no interest or even recognition of our services nor in some cases was the person authorized to make a decision. In addition much of the information was erroneous. Even the most basic information (the company’s name) was not provided.

(2)  The contacts did not meet the requirements we specified nor were the standard requirements expected met. I conveyed this to Micah several times but he kept sending bogus contacts. Of these, all had no interest, we were given false information, the contact could not be reached or the contact did not exist at all.

If simply giving basic and/or erroneous information qualifies as a lead then everyone would qualify and a lead generator simply needs to obtain a free list such as the yellow pages phone directory and sell it. Perhaps this is what they did. Micah admitted to having a separate web site where he obtains (phishes?) for information. It is obvious now that there are no filters and he simply sells a raw list, which is often inaccurate, or contains only curiosity seekers, non-authorized persons, none as evidenced by me that qualifies as a true prospect or a lead. Unqualified contacts are not the same as leads. Not only do we not know the name of the business, we also don’t know what type of business or what they do, all critical information.

I believe Micah Lee of Leads2Results is perpetuating a fraud and should be prevented from committing the crime of theft by deception. I believe that Leads2Results mislead us and did not provide valid leads. When given the chance to make good by replacing these leads Mr. Lee chose to ignore our requests or take our phone calls. As a result, we did not get what we paid for.

Leads2results and Micah Lee

AUTHOR: Weseten - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 14, 2014

do not buy leads from Micah lee or leads2results.com . They have staled old leads they claim they get live and sell you for $25 each when you can by the list yourself at less than $2.00 each from other sites. Their business approach to selling leads is this. They get you hung up on upfront leads for a few hundred dollars and they are all bogus. People don't even know why you are calling them. I will copy and paste my latest conversation with them on email so you know I'm not making this up. They are as rude and unprofessional as they can get when it comes to collecting money but very friendly and deceiving when they want to sign you up to a contract. I found many other sources of leads that charge by far less than them and not deceiving. Here are copy and past of my emails to them before they sent me to their collection department:

Here is the trancript:

Hello Wes Eten,

We have encountered an error while attempting to charge your account for the amount due of $225.00. Please contact your account representative micah at 1-800-486-8616 to avoid interruption of your leads.

Response I typed to Micah Lee, the sales manger:

Micah - I just got this email as well. We have not even got 4 good leads from your company yet! The quality of the leads are very poor and your return policies are not lining up with what you told me originally. I can create a good campaign and buy 100 leads a week or month but with this quality and service it is not going to work. We have over 10 different international based companies to fund our business loans and volume and it certainly does not look good so far with the quality. The leads are supposed to be live but they are stale dated ones and unfiltered. We can buy these aged leads at $2.00 a lead. Unless you come up with a better plan or pricing I have no choice but to pull the plug. I want to work with you but I'm forced in a WHETHERORNOT situation. There are other ways to generate leads.

I'm not going to waste my time explaining one-by-one about the bad leads. If these are live transfers and going for $25 I take them but if they are aged and stale and wrong # at this percentage rate it's a complete false advertising. Again, I like working with you and if you can re compensate let me know.

Then their collection department said this:

Hi mr Adler - Your leads are all bogus. They are not live leads as promised by Micah, your sales manager. They are dated, wrong #s, wrong email addresses and some are your competitions snooping around to see where your leads going to. When We tried to get credit for the leads your site's return portal flunked on us and gave a 404 error message or your return review people shut us down by saying - OH WELL! - when we brought this to Micah's attention he was rude by saying he does not TRUST us until we pay. Your company charged $39 processing fee for these 9 leads - not 10 leads - as was originally promised and that's the going rate for dated, non-live leads like these (we can buy dated leads for $4 a piece elsewhere). I have worked in lead industry and owned my company back in the mortgage boom time and sold leads and I'm not new to this. I am also a very highly ranked consultant for many businesses working with google for SEO, ranking and business reputation consultation. Well, your business reputation at this point is very low with me and unless you have a miraculous resolution for this, I suggest you take your $39 and we will part - or - we can continue with these leads at $4 per lead and I look the other way and have them continued worked.

Sorry but we are very disappointed at this point. No payment will be granted until I hear back from you.

Wes Eten

American Credit

and obviously now we are in collection for a bunch of bogus leads. FYI

GO ELSEWHERE. THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER DESCENT COMPANIES WHO SELL QUALITY LEADS.
