Lean Spa bad customer service, questionable scam Internet, South Carolina

I went to check the weather this morning on the internet and next to the page was a news report about lean spa and how thier product really works and how it was researched by several news groups like fox nbnc etc  I thought well if they are saying its ok I will the try the trial offer.  As soon as I completed and sent the form in I realized at the bottom of the page that they were going to keep billing me for additional products. This information was not explained on the original page when I put my information in.  The original articule/web page stated that they would not send any products automaticly or charge me continually.  I tried to call the company several times for serveral hours but no one would answer the phone.  I even tried to cancel the order but my order number keep coming up unavail or it does not exist.  I checked my credit card and there is a charge for 4.95 twice for the trial products shipping.  After further research I found this web site, naturally I was concerned.  I called my credit card and canceled it and shortly after I received a call from a verification company (third party) checking my order.  I tried to cancel with this person but she said she was instructed to give me the customer service phone number and that was it.  I tried to call but no one answers the phone and tried to email them, no response.  Should I assume if the product (30 day trial) does arrive  should I put it in the trash? try to send it back? Does the product work?
