Lee memorial Hospital Patient Fort Myers Florida

 Lee Memorial Hospital was negligent on preforming a swallowing test for my husband. After four days of waiting for the test and several complaints the hospital state the staff in charge of handling the camera for the test was out for the weekend. Which means we needed to wait for two more days. In the meantime by husband keep asking and begging them for water. Which makes him very anxious and Lee Memorial handle this by giving him medication which only makes him drowsy. He doesn't deserve this treatment and he had enough by dealing with a traumatic brain injury. I tried to asked to speak with nurses a few times. They let me know someone will come to the room after waiting for 1 1/2 hour I had to come back to the nursing station the SPCU nurses in the 8th floor forgot that patients are humans. On top of everything they put him in same room as a patient that can eat. So you can only imagine the desperation my husband went thru everytime they bring food for that patient. This hospital is terrible and nurses are rude. They don't communicate with the family. They treat patients as animals.
