We now know why so many of the responses above and elsewhere on the Internet are written with broken English and come from Asia. It seems that A. Harrison Barnes funnels most or all of his work through an Indian company called Hi-Tech Export. The foreign employees and affiliates of this company seem to have been instructed to storm the Internet with fabrications and lies in an attempt to hide the true nature of Legal Authority, Employmentcrossing, Lawcrossing, Hound.com, Resume Apple and Shorttask. It is quite possible that they are engaging in this egregious behavior in an attempt to save their own jobs.

Take a look at the number one quote on the company's "client" page on its website at hitechexport.com/clients.php. (Screenshot attached). It quotes A. H. Barnes as the number one client thanking Hi-Tech Export for their support.  A review of employees of BCG Attorney Search lists an individual based in the same Indian province as an employee of the company and the company's senior writer even though Barnes lists her as operating out of Los Angeles.

There is every reason to believe, now more than ever, that this group of companies that are supposedly targeted towards helping U.S. workers is substantially foreign based. One wonders if the people at Legal Authority and the other similar companies that write resumes and claim to provide well researched targeted employment mailing lists are the same people who also wrote the comical rebuttals listed above and elsewhere.

It turns out that A. Harrison Barnes most likely even asked these people to engage in a campaign to deceive the U.S. government. Harrison Barnes's companies and his Indian counterparts (http://blog.jobshouts.com/2010/01/07/hound-com-is-a-scam and www.jobboarders.com/profiles/blogs/houndcom-spammer ).  Barnes and his companies have gained a reputation as a menace to both the job industry and other well-meaning Internet sites.

A. Harrison Barnes's addiction to deception just took a real turn towards the ugly. Not only does he pretend to be something he is not while operating companies of dubious veracity, he uses cheap off-shore labor to take advantage of unemployed U.S. citizens. It's too bad that the people who mostly help foster this scheme are beyond the reach of U.S. law.

So my opinion is, that it's defenitly not a scam. Why would it be? Blame yourself insted of blaiming an innocent site.

I have had nothing but an A-grade experience with Legal Authority. Everything that is found on a search engine should not be believed. I got a job through Legal Authority in no time at all and have found them to be professional and responsive to emails in a timely manner.

Their fees are competitive and when I was researching on which one to join Legal Authority just seemed to come out on top. Before joining I had a look at some forums to see what others had to say and in the end I used my better judgment. Legal Authority is not a scam.

The company was created in 1998 and registered in 2001 it does not look like they are going anywhere in a hurry. If it were created in only the last year there could be reason to believe they it could be a scam.

I am amazed at how blatantly oblivious A. Harrison Barnes is to the obviousness of his deceitful practices.  Just read through the above "responses" to a legitimate consumer complaint.  About once a week someone from India, the real location of Harrison's operations, posts a response extolling the virtues of Lawcrossing, Legal Authority and Employmentcrossing.  They all read like advertisements written by someone with broken English.  Numerous of the praises claim to be from a person, in India who found a legal job through one of the companies.  Such garbage.

Better still are the comments placed on A. Harrison Barnes own blog, especially by a stooge calling himself steveaustin (again from India).  They appear almost daily.  Here is an example

The worst thing is that Barnes allows this to occur even though his lawsuit against certain people for posting comments on this site and elsewhere was thrown out with harsh comments from the judge.  Now that Barnes tried to prove his point in court but ended up making a fool out of himself he should try to at least act as though he is a legitimate businessperson.

Anyone who wrote the above responses and others who work for Harrison Barnes should be deeply ashamed.  This goes especially for the people from India who claim that they get jobs in Idaho and eleswhere but still identify themselves as residing in India.  I understand that the numer one person that Harrison Barnes uses to generate fake plublicity is himself a U.S. based non-citizen named Maheer Seth.  Harrison Barnes uses him to convince everone in India that they are part of something big but noone really knows that everything that Maheer does is in shambles. 

Just once I would like to see someone write something in defence of one of Harrison Barnes companies that includes something that can be verified.  Until then you are all pathetic and deserve the fallout from whatever happens when Harrison Barnes is uncovered.

This is way too funny and worth watching the whole thing. You get to see barnes at his malibu estate thinking that he's selling something while making a total jerk of himself. I wish I saw it over a year ago before I ran into his legal authority money scam and wasted over $1,500.
