Leggett & Platt Adjustable Beds Sometimes we are helpful, sometimes, not so much Carthage, Missouri

In 2005 my wife and I bought tempure pedic (style) beds from a company called Angel Beds.  Bad decession on our part, buyer beware from Angelbeds.com  Also from that company was the purchase of adjustable twin bed frames, manufactured by a company, Leggett & Platt.  Our experience began from the very beginning.  The frames would not operate.  The company was contacted, and they were very good to resolve the problem.  Both electronic components and remotes were replaced.  Recently 05/2010, my wifes bed would not operate.  Then the next day my side would not.  My wife raises and lowers her side usually 5 times a week due to sinus problems.  As for my side maybe once a month, as after spinal surgery, it's actually uncomfortable for me being at an elevated angle.  Upon contacting the company, the first time, they requested that I email them pictures of the remote, so as to know how to proceed,  this was done, with no response.  I called the second time, and was helped greatly by a young lady by the name of Teka.  Her help did not resolve the problem, yet she tried very hard.  Third call, I end up with the original person I was in contact with, and you know how that ended up.  Was told warrenty no longer in effect and would have to purchase new components.   I could probably understand this with my wifes bed, but mine? 

As I said in the beginning.  Our problems began from the very beginning, with bad electical components.  I would assume that Leggett and Platt has another outside company produce the components for them, maybe not, not sure.  I would assume if I'm having this problem, then others are as well.  To Leggett & Platts defense, the frame has been great,  operation of it, not so much.  I hope future purchasers of this product will have a better and longer lasting product than what I purchased.
