Leisure RV management program is misrepresented, cheats the investor out of returns. Millett Alberta

I invested in the management program in the sumnmer of 2005. I purchased a brand new motorhome for over $90,000 that would be placed in the rental fleet. I had the contract inspected by and outside accountant who thought the program looked like a sound deal. However, I discovered that Leisure Rv, and the owner, Arnold Donzelmann view the contract more as a rough guideline, as opposed to a contract.

I did not recieve income payments in a timely fashion, and in the second year of the program, I, along with many other investors recieved no payments at all. After many, many phone calls to Arnold, the money finally did come. I had to make an absolute pest of myself in order to get payment. Some of the income owed to me finally did come, about 6 months later, with all kinds of deductions for service work, even though the contract clearly stipulates that that work would be covered. I was charged for items that renters damaged, and for replacing parts that were still under warranty.

The service department was grossly incapable of keeping the unit in good repair. They would say they fixed something, when it clearly was not.

It is clear that the principals of Leisure RV have no idea how to run a large business that deals with outside investors. I talked to several principals at the other dealerships in the area, and the state of affairs at Leisure was no secret, and many of them have been recieved units on consignment from other participants in the Leisure Rv management program. In the spring of 2007, I pulled my unit from the program, as it was clear that there was no way that I could be certain that I would ever get any income from it. Now of
course, I am stuck with payments on a motorhome that I really don't have a use for. It's sole purpose was an method of creating some income with the goal of being able to own a motorhome outright after several years of being in the program.

The program does not work, Leisure RV is grossly mismanaged, and if you purchase a rental unit from them, you will not get paid and you will be stuck with having to make full payments on the unit. The contract looks good on paper, but it is just paper.
