Lemodeln, Inc Contract was void, however Lemodeln are stating that the contract was never voided. Boardman Ohio

LEMODELN, INC is a businesses whose business practices can be described as shady at best. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, The
Attorney General for the State of Ohio, and the Federal Trade Commision for the actions that have taken place below. If my situation is not rectified, I will blog, boycott radio stations, and even purchase radio air time to make people aware of this company and the like. I suggest that all who have been unfairly treated by this company to report them to the aforementioned agency ASAP. Please have all documentation, as I do, so they can examine. This is the only way for this company to be exposed!

My wife visited Lemodeln to decide whether or not she wanted to utilize their service for out two year old daughter. She signed a contract while there at the office, but I asked for it back before she left the office. They did not give her the contract, but said they would mail with some other information. When she received the information package there was a copy of the contract, not the original.

The next day I called and I spoke with a representative there, female and she asked for my personal information, because she would have someone to call me back. I gave her my information, but no one returned my call. My wife informed me that she had expressed discontent with their services and wished to void the contract before she left their offices (after she signed), the very next day after learning what had transpired, I attempted to call ensure everything was resolved and make sure the contract was void, but received no call back.

On 25 Oct 07, my wife received a bill from the company for $469.75. She called and explained the situation to no avail. I then spoke with the representative and relayed to her the actions I had taken to ensure there was no contract. I informed her that there was no documentation included in the package to void the contact and my wife wished to void the contract. Additionally I informed her that due this, I called the company to ensure that the contract did not take effect. The rep said I never called because there were no recordsof me calling. However I was able to tell her I spoke with a female, who stated someone would call me to handle the situation. She proceeded to threaten me, stating specifically, "I will just have to turn this over to the credit agencies".

I asked for some type of recourse that would be mutually beneficial with both parties. She said she would accept $20.00, which would avoid credit action (twenty dollars would only make it seem as if there was actually a contract valid). I stated no way because my wife and I had made good faith attempts during the cooling off period to void the contract. She then stated there may be something we could do and placed me on hold for about two to three minutes. When she returned she stated that she would not be able to void the contract.

We have not received any services from this company, and we have not received any information from this company in three months until we received the bill today. I conversed with the representative in a cordial manner and never said anything derogatory. However, I felt that she acted unprofessionally when she questioned my integrity after I told her I had called to ensure the contract was void. I am seeking that this company be exposed for their mal practices.
