This family-owned and operated store based out of Miwaukee, WI is a terrible company and that's from first-hand knowledge. I have never seen such unprofessionalism, gossip, crappy service and cheapness ever and it starts from the top and trickles down.

First of all, the owners of the store are downright creeps. They treat their employees like garbage, purposely hiring on individuals in bad spots so they can pay wages that should be illegal for the amount of work they do. They DO NOT follow the work laws. I have personally spoke with employees who are forced to work 7 days a week and have been threatened to be fired many times. One owner, Gregory Martin, has arrogently said that he provides positions so black men can feed their families while paying them pennies of what they'd earn at a reputable establishment. They knowingly hire on felons, single moms who are struggling, students...anyone they feel can take advantage of because that employee is grateful to have a job.

The lack of professionalism creates an environment that is closer to being in high school then a business. The example set by the higher-ups is atrocious with gossiping and spreading personal information about the employees to friends and fellow co-workers. There is constant cattiness and fighting with foul language, eye-rolling and other immature-like behavior. One employee recently got in trouble for something beyond their control and an employee in the corporate office, Carol Bedford, was heard by several employees on the phone talking to someone about the incident while everyone who HAD THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, WAS THERE IN THE BUILDING WITH HER.

The fact that the owners drive luxury cars and live laviously while treating their employees like nothing isn't a crime. It should be but it isn't. The gossip, back-biting, paying minimum wage to employees working likes slaves...all of this, unfortunately is not a crime. I think this company needs to be investigated from practices regarding break times and days off to thourough store inspections and someone should definitely speak with the employees there. Without fear of retaliation, I know they would agree with everything I have written.
