So I went to the Santa Rosa CA Lensecrafters to have my eye exam done. When I got there I explained to the clerk that I already had my own frames and I planned to take them to have the lenses put in at another place because the lensecrafters locations do not take my insurance so I planned to have the lenses done at a direct provider. So a week or so went by and I received my new glasses, once i had them on a few minutes I realized they were blurry when I tried reading things far away. So I contacted the Drs office who placed the lenses in the frame and they said the prescription in my lenses matched what I brought to them from lensecrafters.

I then went back to the Santa Rosa lensecrafters and spoke with a clerk there and asked her what I should do because my glasses were not working and I was told by my DRs office that the exam could Have been done wrong. She said there was not much they could do other than offer me another exam, she also offered to check the lenses to make sure they were a match. She came back and said yes they matched what I was prescribed and she asked to check the fit to make sure they were lined up. She took them to her work station to adjust them because she stated they were a bit too high on my face. Then whahla she broke them! She snapped the nose pice right off, she quickly excused herself to the back where they could fix what she did. Some time later she came out and explained to me that they were not able to be fixed and that normally they are not responsible for glasses , frames, or lenses that are from another source, however due to her forgetting to tell me about such policy she stated that lensecrafters would take care of all cost to replace them for me and I made sure she notated my account to that affect. She then asked if I was able to provide the website where I bought them , or if I could track them down? I told her I doubt I could find them because where I bought them is a site that only has a few of each item sold. She said well in a few days she or someone there would contact me and find out if I was able to locate them. I said ok well what if we can't locate these then what are you guys going to have me choose a frame here of my liking and replace them? She said yes but we would prefer to find the same frame so we can use the same lenses. So let me get this straight your wanting to use the same lenses the ones that I can't see out of? She said well there's not much we can do about the lenses because we don't own the eye exam portion they just rent space from us so you would have to deal with them.

So here I am 10 days later and I hear nothing so I go into the location and get the biggest run around in fact the manager who was advising the clerk on the situation and what to do the night she broke them was there today when I went in and he acted as if he has never heard of me or what's happened until now. Once I called him out and said I remember him being the one from that night and how everything was notated suddenly he spoke as if he was there but simply overheard a few things. So now there asking me to give them 3 more days to find the frame and continued to make it out to be my fault it's taken so long because I have not followed up on this until now! Why should I follow up when they said someone would call me and they are the ones who messed up here! So in the end I still have no frames, no lenses, and the ones they broke and now have possession of are broke and blurry! So maybe it's time too sue?, I mean come one all I wanted was too see clearly again instead of all this drama. So in the end DON'T GO TO LENSECRAFTERS!! OR EYEXAM OF CALIFORNIA!! They gave me a wrong and blurry prescription / diagnosis then broke my glasses and are trying to take there time getting me a new pair! Worst Place Ever....
