LERNKS FINANCIAL SERVICES USA Mega win Sydney NS, Canada

I received a letter containing a check for $4500 with a notice that I had won $450,000 as a second prize in the second category of USA Mega (under the international Sweepstake) draw held May 11, 2011.  Serial number 9814676 attached to my name and matching winning numbers 10-28-33-38-45.

I know that I did not enter any sweepstakes or lottery outside the US and I wonder how a foreign lottery can have the name USA Mega.  I am supposed to make contact with my claims agent DONA JUNE at the given phone number to proceed with my claim.  And the check is to be used to pay the non-resident tax of $4100 to my tax agent.  I did notice that someone else was contacted by this company for a similar win and also filed a ripoff report.

I am approaching 65 and receiving an increasing number of sugar coated entrapments in my US mail.
