Admittedly, the company owes Les Schwab a large amount on a commercial account.. Trucking company paying on account until large set backs resulted in no money to pay with...
But beware, here is what happened... Due to none payment Les Scwab repo'd their tires off any of the tractors and trailers they could... They then repo'd the tires off the personal vehicle on the owners personal account....
Definate next step should have been collections for this account.... Nope not yet they came out and repo'd a few of the second set of tires we put on the tractor in order to move the semi, these were not even Les Schwab tires.
As of this morning when we contacted Les Schwab headquarters we were told that Medford took those tires because they had invoices showing they were bought here.
Trailer that those tires came off of was loaned to us from an awesome couple out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Who knew better then to deal with Les Schwab.
There is no way, no how, those second set of tires belonged to Schwab...
Proof is on the way.!!
I know they can repo merchandise, but what if the product wasn't theirs to start with????

I would call the police right away. They CANNOT legally take your tires off like that. Believe me, I have heard many a story exactly like yours and the tire store always loses.
The invoice and DOT number are not good enough proof. Even if they could produce a DOT number, it is still not good enough evidence. Thousands of tires are made in a single day with the same DOT #, so there is no way to prove they are the same exact tires they put on.
The funny thing is that they are going to make more money on the used tires than you owe them.
And dont pay any invoices that were not signed. LS is very good at replacing tires that you didnt ask them too and or replacing perfectly good tires.
Thats why there are collection agencies and so on and so forth. I would sue them.
