LES SCHWAB TIRES Slow, Complete lack of knowledge. Destroyers Sacramento California

The Husband and I have always used this location, for the last 5 cars that we have owned. We where planning on using them for two more of our collector cars because we had never had any issues with them.

Until today, we roll in to get the front right tire repaired due to a nail puncture. We though hey since we're here why not have them rotate the tires, we let the D.A. (the girl) at the counter know that the tires are directional/staggered and asked if there would be an additional charge.. She smiles and says "Ohhh no theres no charge for that.", again we look at each other and he asks her you understand what that means right and she says" Yeah, heeheh." The husband and I know thats kind of to good to be true because if you know anything about directional tires and staggering it means the tires will not simply be able to be rotated, the tires must be taken off the BOYD rims and remounted on the opposite rim. So far no problems ...

Then well over an hour later, I have the husband go and ask when they might consider helping us since they had helped two people that had just arrived. They finally help us, the second Girl and a manager of Schwab TRIED to put the REAR tire on the front, the fronts are 250/55/17 and the rears are 255/75/17.. HELLO The fronts are a bit smaller than the rears. The manager came to help the Girl that was TRYING to rotate the tires. The husband had to POINT it out to both workers that they couldn't do that because the rears are a DIFFERENT SIZE(staggered). They then tell us there will be an add'l charge and we say no problem, but just never mind doing it because by now it an hour and a half later we are very affraid of the damage they may cause and hell it may take another 8 hours.

Simply fixing one flat took and HOUR!

When the truck finally is pulled out by my husband because the tech's where not using any covering for the seats and due to the fact that the truck is slammed and they had a very hard time getting it on the lift, there was a good DAMM scratch on it. A SCRATCH. This is a 2000 Silverado with less than 65000 miles on it in MINT Cond. The Mother F'g mngr says we didn't do it, if it was us it would have some grease on it. I was the one that noticed the scratch because it was not there earlier in the day; the truck was not out of our site at all today. When we park the truck we park in the north 40 where no one else would want to hike to let alone park.

I would like to state a couple of things one, I have been in the automotive industry since I was 16. As a parts person or parts Manager for very large manufactures. I have no issue with women in the industry IF THEY KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING., the girl at the front counter had no clue and the girl tech fixing the tire was special also. We will never ever go to this location again and we may just not use les Schwab again. I will also be contacting the BBB and BAR to file complaints about the idiots scratching our truck.
