First LG Env VX9900 arrived had "corrupt software" according to a Verizon rep. LetsTalk.com issued RMA number and had to fax me a shipping label since they failed to email one...twice. I had to run to a UPS store to ship phone back. Verizon agreed to credit my account to cover LetsTalk.com's lack of willingness to credit. Shame LetsTalk.com feels I should be charged for services not received for 16 days, but I disagree. The phone will be kept and the rebate will be fulfilled. The experience with "Letstalk.com" has been disappointing, but not surprising and won't be repeated with any future business. Does LetsTalk.com sell REFURBISHED phones?

LetsTalk tried to sell me junk too!

AUTHOR: Bev - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 01, 2007

I also dealt with LetsTalk.com (through Walmart.com's online connection center) and the phone they sent me was also junk. It never had any carrier software installed at all, and it appeared to be a cheap plastic display model, and not the sturdy aluminum-cased Razrs that I have used before. And the box they shipped it in was severly damaged and poorly taped. I have filed my own report and included pictures. Apparently I'm not the only person that has received a junk phone from them!

Letstalk.com stoops to a new low

AUTHOR: Eclipsedave - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, September 07, 2007

Even though I contacted Verizon and they were going to credit my account for time lost and even correct my plan to the one I had signed up for through Letstalk.com (I clicked the 39.99/mo. plan --yet Letstalk.com set me up with the 59.99/mo. plan with Verizon??) and even though I emailed Letstalk.com to notify them that I was keeping the new replacement phone when it arrived, I checked the tracking # on Fed-Ex and Letstalk.com had called them to pull the shipment 2 HOURS before it was scheduled to arrive. Fed-Ex tracking shows it was "refused" though I never even saw the delivery guy. I have since had to call Verizon to cancel my account.

Verizon stated that they have dealt with similar issues with Letstalk.com. I see that my credit card still shows a charge from Letstalk.com and it would be in their best interest to credit my account ASAP. Mitigate your damages out there, folks. I'll be buying my new LG Env VX9900 through Verizon and it won't be refurbished. Letstalk.com wouldn't know good business if it bit them in the &*&. (Like I would have ever SEEN my rebate check either way?)
