I was contacted referred to Lexington Law, only after I was trying to get a loan with Amone. One Amone tells they can't help you, they will send you over to Lexington Law for credit repair services. The first issue, is if I was seeking a loan, I clearly wouldn't have the money for credit repair services at the same time.

Are you kidding me? About 2 minutes into the phone call when the Lex Law guy (Jared) told me what their services entail and that it would be $99.95, I quickly told him that I could not afford to pay that charge and therefore, wouldnt' request his services, until I could afford to pay them. He said he would call me back in a month or so. He did call me back, repeatedly. I never answered a phone call from them, and I never answered an email from them. Now, almost 2 months later, I see 3 different charges debited from my account as of today (1-12-13). Remember, all of this begain in late November.. [continued below]....

When I called to dispute these charges, Monica was on the phone. She said she could provide for me where I signed up to use their services. I asked her to provide a transcript of the phone call I had with Jared. She didn't do that. She ignored that I asked for that. She then, sent me an email showing my name typed into a contract electronically. I did not type my name for them. Anyone can provide this information. Then, she stated they had sent me several emails showing the work they had done on my account and that is what I was being billed for. I had no emails from Lexington Law from 12-3-12 until 1-4-13.

On the 4th, I received an email saying my debit card was denied for charges from Lexington Law. At that point, I went to the website and fired off an email stating I never requested their services and do not wish to communicate with them until it was affordable for me. So, 8 days later, they debit my account for $99.95, $49.95 and $19.95 all in one shot. When I asked Monica to forward me the emails she said they sent to me for over 1 month detailing the work, she said, "Sure. I can send them over to you." What she sent was a lot of computer generated emails from her system not showing the date of which they were sent. So, all the emails she provided as back up had no original date, they simply showed todays date, when I requested it. This is ridiculous.

And, the work that Lexington Law "provides" for you, is all work you can do yourself. The only thing they do is send out letters to your creditors for you. If you want to take the time, you can do all this yourself for the price of postage alone. Their rates do not guarantee results, they only say they will try.

$170 is very expensive for 3 letters to be mailed (so she said they did), when I could have done the very same thing for $1.35.

If you are seeking credit repair, please take a look around and be sure you look at all options before jumping in with this company. It is more than likely something you can do yourself over time. Beware. Do your homework.
