Bought two Dell C6100's, One shipped to my home address, the other to my Datacenter.

The server shipped to my address firstly had a drive bay not working, this could of been a shipping issue, but probably not based on what happened with the company next.

I took all the drives out and inspected them, They provided half the proper Dell drives and half these crappy Hitachi things.

I told Richard and he said that they don't send out servers with mixed drives, obviously a mistake "give me the order number and I'll look into it"

At this point I was done with these guys, It was a time sensitive project and now I had to go through all this mess with shipping drives back and forth as well as diagnosing the failed drive bay. I asked for a refund and they want a 15% restocking fee.

I told him you're crazy and opened a PayPal dispute, I wondered at the start since the server I wanted had the exact same configuration as a server of theres on eBay, why they didn't let me checkout through the eBay site, but they invoiced me manually so they could purposely mess me around and I wouldn't be able to send bad feedback.

I then contacted my data center and asked them to check the drives, not to my surprise on the second server, it was 50% Dell drives, 50% Hitachi again. Funny how on BOTH servers they BOTH had 50% Dell and 50% Hitachi, coincidence? I think not.

During the diagnosing process of the drive bay, they requested photo's, they weren't very detailed with what they wanted so I said to them "I'm not very techy, my server admin are the ones who deal with this stuff normally" They then took full advantage of that and told me towards the end of this mess that the drives were all exactly the same, All Dell drives just labeled different. I looked at them further and saw the Dell and Hitachi's were COMPLETELY different, in colour, the chip boards completely different and everything.

Anyway, PayPal dispute open for both items and I'll get full refund.

I asked them refund me at the start and no more would of come of it, I'd write it off as a loss on my end and not post this, but for sneaky business practices and trying to keep my money, now this will forever shame your company.
