My wife and I went on the Internet at globaltrailer.net and ordered a LG Ambassador 66 Jet Hot Tub for $4,174.95 on 11 June 2007. We paid by debit card and the vendor was paid immediately from our checking account. We had to call several times to obtain delivery times When the delivery dates came, no hot tub. We finally received our hot tub on 19 July 2007. The delivery truck operator dropped our hot tub off in our driveway and was about to take off when my wife and I returned home from a trip. We told the driver not to go any where until we inspected the package. We noted scratches & cracks on one end of the hot tub and saw some water damage on the frame. This damage was notedon the delivery ticket and the driver told us that we had to contact LG Wholesale on the damage. My wife and I took photos of the damage and e-mailed the photos to parts@legionglobal.net. To this day LG Wholesale has never replaced the cracked doors on the frame of the ot tub. When the hot tub cover arrived later it was received damaged. We reported the damage and they shipped an additional cover that was also damaged. In December 2007 our Rooster Heating element burned out and we talked to a person in warranty called Emil to obtain a replacement. After a long period of followups our replacement heater finally arrived. I installed the heater and two days later it failed. I contacted someone from 02 Sports and was assured by one of their representatives that they would take care of our replacement heater. Since that call I have been trying for several weeks to find out the status of our heater. I get the typical responce from an answering machine that because of a high volume of calls to leave a message and and they will return your call. I've gotten this responce over 30 times and no one calls back. I'm stuck with a $4,000.00 Hot Tub with no way to heat it. I have tryed numerious Hot Tub Vendors to find a replacement heater but no one carries the Rooster brand. This Company has given us the runaround for over a your now. The warranty expired just last week and the company will not return our calls to even place an order. What a Rip-Off!

I have only seen their motorsports-only website and not the others. The motorsports-only website says nothing about spas/saunas.

and quads for parts of a spa? Just because you spa says 'LG Ambassador' does not mean this company made it. You better do some better research.

Advice on how to get your money back.

Here is a posting from one of the other ripoff reports on on o2 Sports on this site.

I've been doing a little bit of research regarding O2 Sports and Ioni Petrova. It appears that the problems began when Ms. Petrova was unable to pay for the shipping of the items. This is information I received from the Chino Police Department. She currently owes the shipping company over $200,000. I thought I had a clever solution by offering to pay for shipping AGAIN or even to drive down to Chino and pick it up. Ms. Petrova, who has over 30 spas in her possession according to the shipping company, refuses to release these spas and has moved her warehouse. Guess she wasn't honest with the police when she said 'shipping fees' were the issue, since I was willing to take care of that out of my pocket - again. She's a con artist and looks for any excuse not to honor her contract.

The criminal issue is that it would be difficult to prove that Ioni Petrova, doing business as O2 Sports, Inc. INTENTIONALLY sold spas without ever planning to deliver them. If we could prove that, then there would be a good possibility that fraud charges would be filed.

I think it is important for you and everyone else who has been victimized to contact the San Bernadino District Attorney's Office and speak with someone in their Investigations Bureau. These are specialized investigations that deal mostly with large fraud type cases. See who handles their consumer protection fraud division - it should be someone in their 'Specialized Prosecutions Group'. IF THEY GET ENOUGH COMPLAINTS, THEY CAN LOOK INTO THE BUSINESS PRACTICES OF O2 Sports and, since they do this on a full-time basis, they may have different resources and exposure than the local police departments.

I think that everyone needs to make their voices heard in this matter because I'm sure this is not a legitimate business based on what I've seen. If she is intentionally defrauding people, she needs to be held criminally liable.

As far as class action lawsuits....they are very expensive and the attorney (if you can find one) will walk away with most of the profit.

You are better off filing a small claims case - you can do that in the city that you live in, since that is where you lived when the contract was made (i.e. you made the purchase). Its fairly inexpensive and I know in California, you pay $50 if your claim is less than $5000.00.

Hope this helps a little...Please email me at dlhawkins@hotmail.com and I'd be happy to give you more info/details.

02 sports, o2 sports - Chino Hills police say

AUTHOR: Anonymnous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 22, 2008

"Chino Police Department Announcement
SUBJECT: 02 Sport/Divine Spas Complaints

The internet-based company, Sport/Divine Spas does operate its business within the City of Chino. Numerous complaints have been received by the Chino Police Department from citizens who believe they have been defrauded by this company. As a result of these complaints a thorough investigation has been conducted by this Department. The investigation has shown that no criminal violations have occurred. The issues raised by these concerned citizens are civil rather than criminal matters and need to be pursued through the civil court system.

Customers wishing to file a complaint regarding this business are asked to contact the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.com or 909- 825-7280). They may also wish to contact the civil court in their area to get more information on pursing this matter through civil court."

i would also try small claims court....its quick, easy, inexpensive and is for claims up to $5,000.

Also please be sure and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as the police advised.

If you do some adidtional investigation on this site you will find dozens of other victims.

Do a search on this site for 02 Sports with a 'zero' and also do a search for o2 sports using the letter 'o' and lets get everyone to take action. the more that do the easier it'll be for all of us to recoup our losses.
