I bought an LG refrigerator and washer/dryer package from Home Depot along with a warranty on the refrigerator 5 1/2 months ago.  Within 2 months, I had to call for service when I found water leaking all over my kitchen coming from under the refrigerator.  Repair came and said they fixed it but within a week or so it started to leak again.  They came again and said it was fixed.  Since the second fix, the ice maker is now not working correctly.  Called for service again very unhappy because I have to be inconvenienced to wait for repair again.  

Since I bought the products at Home Depot along with the warranty, I have always called Home Depot's service line.  They schedule the service for me with LG since they said the product is still under manufacturers warranty.  When I asked Home Depot how many service calls are required before a product is deemed a lemon, they said that I would have to ask LG because it's under manufacturers warranty and not Home Depot's yet.  

When I called LG, the rep had a hard time understanding what I was asking but kept telling me that it had to break down four times for the same issue in the first year before LG would replace the unit.  It didn't matter that I would be inconvenienced or that the product was not satisfactory.  When I asked for a supervisor, she said there wasn't one that could help me becausee they were closed so I would need to call back the next day.  When I asked if I could leave a message she said they didn't have voice mail and could't leave them an email message either.  Their call center was in southeast Asia and I would need to call back to get someone in the U.S. but they would tell me.  This was their process and there wasn't anything LG would do about it.  

LG has not provided a good product or customer service experience.  I paid a lot of money for my apppliances and I feel like I have been ripped off.  Now the electronics on the washer are starting to have an intermittent problem.  I regret buying LG and will never do it again.  I know 2 others that had the same issues.
