I joined evow.com dating service on April 27, 2012.  Immediately I was approached by Logan Hawks who wanted to chat.  We chatted for two hours, then he wanted each of us to remove our profiles from the site as a sign of "trust" toward building our relationship.  He asked for my sign on and password to the site, which I gave him and we removed each other's profile pages.  We chatted on line for about 10 days.  He said he was 51, a CEO of a Precious Gems Company, had a website (lhawkstones.com), had no family but two daughters, had been born and raised in Berlin, Germany, his wife had been killed five years earlier when she was struck by a drunk truck driver while going to the grocery store.

After about a week, he was supposed to come visit, stay in a hotel, so we could meet.  He sent me an email two days before he was supposed to come saying he had a great chance to go to Ghana, West Africa to explore for minerals/gems on some property he had wanted to obtain.  He never wanted to talk on the phone, but we always chatted through yahoo.com instant messenger.  He appeared in the picture on his profile as an attractive, tall man with gray hair.  The one time we did webcam, he appeared to not be the same person.

I asked him to send me a picture of him and his daughters upon arrival, but he never did.  Also, after he got to Ghana he told me his laptop and phone had been damaged when he plugged it into the 220 volt instead of 110 volt in the US and he desperately needed new ones to conduct his business and stay in touch with me.  I replied that I would not buy him a new phone and laptop.  He said he could not call anyone else to help because all his contact information was in his phone.  He further stated that he couldn't use the phone there in the third-world country because he was afraid they would write down his financial information.  Then, I emailed him the site where he could order a new Dell computer online.  Then he replied that his credit card was not working for some strange reason.  He pretty much demanded that I purchase a new laptop and phone for him.  I had told him at the beginning of the relationship I had limited financial resources.  He advised me to get a loan to purchase the items for him.  I replied that I would not and he grew angry and was verbally insulting.  I wanted to make you aware of this so people would be aware.
