I was a member of InboxDollars for awhile, until I came across Ripoff Report. I closed my InboxDollars account, and I was prompted with a 'feedback' page, to tell them why I was closing my account. I was kinda rude typing stuff like: "I heard reports about you. You sell our email addresses to spammers. Goodbye to you." And since then I've been receiving invoices for magazines I did not subscribe to. Two invoices I received via email.

No one in real life that hates me knows my email address, so that's why I suspect it's InboxDollars, but I could be anyone, but it's a website that got mad at me. It's getting annoying, but the more magazines they subscribe to in my name, the more I'll just cancel the subscriptions.

Hi there. Well I a while ago I contacted the customer support of the magazines, they said that legitimate companies were signing me up, but they've stopped. I've opened a new Inbox Dollars account, and am making some money. I just hope they don't cheat me in the end. Happy New Year

Why would inboxdollars waste time and money?

I'm totally confused. You said that inboxdollars.com got pissed off at you (knowing that they have millions of users on there site everyday but they chose you to pick on) for canceling your account with them so they go off and subscribe magazines in your name to be sent via mail without you knowing?!?

Ok, now let's think about this logically.

Like I mentioned inboxdollars.com is a very well known site that people join and cancel all the time with them and yet they decided to retaliate against you by sending you magazine subscriptions? This does not make any sense at all only for the fact that they would be rewarding you by sending you magazines. not to mention it's a lot of money and time goes into just to do something to someone that really doesn't matter to them. It's like a rich person getting mad over losing 2 cents. It just doesn't happen.

Now, when you sign up for inboxdollars.com there are marketing ads on there for you to view via email for 1-10 cents(hence the name inbox dollars ). Now let's say it was an offer for a magazine and you weren't interested so you just close it out once it opens up. no big deal and obviously no big brainer either. OK same situation, you get an email from inboxdollars.com and you open it up and view it and let's say you are interested well in that case you fill in your info and move on. Once again no brainer. One more time again same situation, you get an email from inboxdollars.com and you open it and let's say you aren't interested in it but you can't move forward unless you enter your info in that case you just enter in FAKE info and move on.

Now, as far as inboxdollars.com selling info to third parties and so forth I personally have never had that problem. I one use a free email account strictly for survey sites and sites like inboxdollars.com that away my personal email account isn't invaded. Second, I never enter in any REAL info on any ads or surveys even if I was interested. If I'm that interested I will go to that companies site myself and don't allow myself to be redirected from a site like inboxdollars.com only for the fact that your info is getting traded off from behind and obviously your blind sighted to see it.

I have had great sucess with inboxdollars.com and I don't find them out to be a ripoff or a scam site. And frankly it just upsets me to know that a site like inboxdollars.com who is FREE might I add you is getting put down because people don't use common sense when they are online. I have said this once before and I will say it again NOTHING IS CONFIDENTIAL WHEN IT IS ONLINE! NO MATTER WHAT! so with that being said feel free to check out my other rebuttals on inboxdollars.com on here.

And just so EVERYONE knows I am not an employee or affiliated in anyway with inboxdollars.com except that I am a member who uses that site that is all just incase you are wondering.

Thanks for reading...
Happy New Years 2008!
~Mary~
