About 1-2 weeks before 12/10/2003 I had a call from an agent by the name of ria chillon with id# ev046 claming to be with liberty card services offering a credit card with a 3,000 credit limit. I told her that i didn't know and that i would have to talk to my wife. she asked me what time would be a better time to call and i responded about 8:00 pm.

She called back then introduced herself and said that she was calling back like he had asked her to do so then I let her speek to my wife. she explained the the benefits on the credit card to my wife she asked questions like, "What was the credit limit?" and if there was a money back guarantee. She said yes that there was and then she asked her if this was a credit card or a catalog card she said no that this was a credit card and i could use it any were, any atm, any time.

My wife thought about it and asked me. i told her that it was up to her so then she took a deep breath and said ok gave her a post dated check # along with the acct and bank #. The agent said that within 4-6 weeks after the payment was processed we would be reciving the packet along with the card. On 12/10/2003 the check went thru the bank.

5 weeks later my wife called in to check the staus and if it still was coming and an agent from liberty had told her that they just had recived the payment 01/03/2004 and my wife at that moment she asked why was it that it had not yet been mailed out. She responded that they did not mail them out individualy and that they were waiting for a batch so they could mail it out to me. She asked her how long it would be before i recived it. She said that she did not know that it could take a week or maybe even two weeks.

My wife got upset at her and told her that she was worried because she did not want this to end up as a scam or a fraud "and like a consumer looking for a response like no ma'am this is not like that you dont have to worry about anything as soon as we get a batch we will mail it out to you" no her resoponse was "well if you think that this was a fraud or a scam then why did you do it because, me personally, if i thought that it was a scam or a fraud i would of not done it" she got even more upset at that comment.

My wife told her off. The agent hung up on her she called back and the same agent answered the call again and told my wife that if this was not richard that she did not have to tell her anything on the acct she then put my me on the phone and i ok for the agent to talk to my wife she then told her that it would be 1-2 weeks after the batch went out.

on or about 01/24/2004 i recived the packet i opened it a thank you letter for joining the liberty benefits services but no credit card. I never knew that we were joining this liberty benefits that up to this date we have not used the card we dont even know what it is for.... i just wanted the card and there was a form to fill out and send a check in the amount of 39.95 that included the 29.00 set up fee and 10.00 was going to be loaded on to the credit card and that i would recive the credit card within 3 weeks so i did made a check for 39.95 and mailed it off on or about 01/26/2004

Well 3 weeks went by and nothing my wife called liberty 02/18/2004 and explained the cituation and they asked her if and when had the check cleared she told them that it had cleared on 02/03/2004 they told her that i would have to wait untill next month so they could e-mail something so.. my wife called liberty the next month and they told her that the agent that did the e-mails was out on vacation for the rest of the week

My wife called the next week then she spoke with the agent who handeled the sending of the e-mails and she told my wife that i would have to wait untill next month.. so my wife asked the agent why was it that last month she had called and that the agent that answerd the phone at that liberty and had told her that i would have to call next month.. and the agent said that no that info was not right and that she did not know who had told her that

My wife called back the next month she told my wife that she would put the e-mail thru and that she would give her the # for the credit card so i could call them but that number is busy at all times of the day tried to call @2:00 am and it was still busy so after no responce decided to call liberty back she said that she would e-mail them back but that was all that she could do so she did (so she said that she did but who knows) the name of the credit card name that i was supposed to recive was planet master that is who i made the check payable to.

Up to this date 06/16/2004 i have yet not received the card or heard from them at all nor from liberty to ask if i have recived the card or to see if i recived the card. tried calling several numbers on the id card that liberty sent but either call is disconnected or call does not goe thru....
