I am extending my sincere thanks to the consumer whom shared his experience with Rip off .com ( Report No. 340886 , Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance.
At present I and my family are experiencing the same situation, an electrical fire occurred in our home. We have dealt with Liberty Mutual Insurance and a adjuster, Chris Collyer. He must believe being in this situation is a joke. Liberty Mutual has not sent the additional check to cover our living expenses , their are six family members and it is difficult to find housing for all of us. Chris Collyer was contacted and a request was made to have the housing funds allocated that everyone may be taken care of and secure where they are staying. Mr. Collyer stated Liberty mutual has never allocated funds for different residences, I informed him theirs a first time for every thing, he stated he is sending the claim for investigation and no funds will be released. now its the weekend ,I contacted the first response number and was informed that Mr. Collyer noted that he made a offer which was refused. We are not in a position to refuse funds for we are homeless due to this situation my mom is sleeping in a caravan. we have to conserve money for we dont know if the funds will cease, so placing anyone in a hotel is costly, my mom is sick recently had two brain surgeries, spinal mengitis and a cerebral spinal fluid leak and suffers with chronic pain due to back surgery this situation is very stressful for her. but again i am so greatful to the person who made the report about liberty mutual insurance. now I have a idea of how they operate so i am prepared for what we have to do next and how to proceed

They sent in people acting as if they are contractors for Liberty Mutual then refeering the next fraud practicing contractor. it became overwhelming so we just sat still and did nothing until we could figure out who was who to those who may unfortunetly experience this situation. Trust no one. Be Blessed... God is in charge....
