A little over a month ago I got a call from a rep of liberty power corp.He stated how much he could save me on my electric bill.He was faxed a copy of a bill so that he could compare. He estimated my savings at least being 30%. I found there was a delivery charge that would be on the bill and when he was asked how much he could not tell me.However he said that the savings projected would include the delivery charge and that the savings would be covering that and more.
I asked if he didn't know the delivery rate charge how could he project that. He stated it was an average based on other users in my area.
I just got my first bill. I compared it to the same time last year. Last yr I used 36 less kwh at a cost of 11.2 cents pkh then this year at a cost of 10.82 cents pkh.
The bill this year is $154.87 compared to last years $110.00. There was included on Liberty Powers Bill a charge for $28.58 for delivery charge. WHAT A SAVINGS!!!.
I must take some of the blame, but I feel the true facts were misreresented on the part of the agent.

I am not employed by Liberty Power and never have been; however, I am a loyal customer. They have lowered my bill, and have the lowest customer complaint percentage in the industry! Your situation is unfortunate, but you are one in a milion.

I NEVER SAID LIBERTY WAS A NON-COMPANY. THE BOTTOM LINE THEY MISREPRESENTED THE FACTS. I REPORTED IT TO THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION THAT OVERLOOKS THE UTILITIES. THEY SENT A LETTER TO LIBERTY AND GAVE THEM 21 DAYS TO RESPOND TO FOUR QUESTIONS AND LIBERTY COULD NOT GIVE THEM ONE ANSWER TO FOUR ASKED. BOTTOM LINE THE STATE FOUND ME TO BE CORRECT AND LIBERTY WASN'T ABLE TO CHARGE ME THE EARLY TERMINATION FEE.

All power companies add a delivery charge to the bill, and Liberty Power is no exception. That is why all power bills contain more than one line! Liberty Power's delivery charge is no more than that of the local utility company. Imagine, all the states Liberty Power is in...Illinois, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Conneticut, and Maryland. All these states - and only one complaint. Can you provide proof of your claim? Perhaps you work for the local utility company!
