I hired a private investigator, Kelly Townsend, to track down someone who owed me money. I paid
$2500.00 to Kelly on 6-17-09 and have not heard one word from him since. It is now 3-1-11. So I am not only out the original money, I am now out another 1200.00. Oh, and the statute of limitations has run out on the origina amount owed me while Kelly was doing nothing. Thanks alot!

Report #701383 was filed here by 'Dawn' of Maricopa, AZ 3-1-11. Dawn, I am the owner and primary agent of LBI and can testify that no contract was ever entered into for investigations in June 2009 with any person employed by my agency for the dollar amount you have posted. I am curious as to why you would pay a company $2500 to collect on a debt of $1200 and then make a complaint in this forum a year and a half after the alleged transaction?! In June of 2009 LBI had relocated and all numbers had been changed. Kelly Townsend IS contracted through my agency and is considered one of the top investigators in the SW United States. With regards to your claim, wouldn't a Small Claims suit against LBI been more effectual if you indeed had a contract with us? I am sorry for your loss, but this is not the forum in which to slander an agency with a substantial, let alone satisfied client list. Best Regards ... J. D'Alfonzo

I'm pretty sure Kelly took your money. You have a pretty strong track record of not being able to find people whom you lend money too. Dont think Kelly had much to lose by taking your dough.
Some people shouldn't lend money. I think you are one of them.
