I was contacted by phone by a man from Lifetime Publishing Group from Boca Raton Florida, around the end of October 2016.  I am a counselor who had just opened a full time practice north of Cincinnati. Clearly, they had found my website and were contacting me to put an ad in a magazine that would be sent to the membership of  5 main golf courses in the Cincinnati area.  I paid 300.00 for a half page ad and was told that over 20,000 members would be getting the magazine and I would be placed in page 7 of the magazine and they were only picking 2 counseling businesses to advertise in the magazine.  I spoke to my father, who is a member of one of the golf courses and he said he had never heard of such a magazine and that the country clubs do not give out the addresses of members to send magazines.  He told me this was a scam and  i should demand my money back.

So, I called the guy, who personally gave me his home cell, and left a message to call me immediately and that I wanted my money back.  He never returned my call.  Next, I sent an email to the publishing email address, explained my situation and asked that someone contact me as I had left several messages and nobody was returning my call.  Finally, a man named Josheph Gaddas, who was located in California, the number was:  888-266-9182 ext 402, let me a message saying that my money would be refunded in 7 to 10 business days and he quoted the last for digits of my credit card.  I thought all was good.  I called him back, as I have never been able to speak him directily, and left a message and thanked him for this and for doing the right thing.

The following week, I got a proof of my ad sent to me by email.  I was shocked!  I emailed back the person who had sent the proof and told him that I had cancelled my ad and was waiting for a refund of my money.  I never heard anything back from  him, either.

When over 10 business days came and went, I began calling Mr. Gaddas back and leaving messages for him that I had not received my refund.  I left about 4 messages and asked him to call me back and give me the status of what was going on.  He never has returned my calls.

I have been totally scammed and I want Lifetime Publishing and Mr. Gaddas to refund my 300.00 asap as he promised that he would.

New Company or Just New Name?

AUTHOR: R.C.R - (USA)

Their file with the BBB was only opened a few months ago.  No complaints (yet).  Their website was registered just in January and is getting ready to expire next month.   They have a facebook page, have you tried to contact anyone through that? Failing that, I would contact the BBB, the Consumer Protection Division of your State's Attorney General's Office (and theirs too, for good measure). I would also contact the FTC. BTW: the site was registered by Thomas Olivia Consulting - owned by Bradley Wysocki.  I would post his email address but RoR doesn't usually allow that.  You can always check the registration of the site and get that information yourself.

Did you happen to notice there are 2 other complaints here against them? One in July and another in October.  The July one was responded to, the October one was not.
