Lime Deeds, Toledo Investment Team sells real estate property that is on the county's demolition list. These properties can be found on their website, or in in the case we were ripped off, Ebay. They list existant homes, with old photos, often showing little work needed to move in. We purchased three from them. One was a three story apartment building, which after paying a building inspector to check it out, found out it had been demolished, a full month prior to their sale. The second was demolished, but they refunded the money, as per that county's standard, and the third is a heap of garbage, listed for demolition by the county. They refused to refund the two properties, even after learning of the condition. All efforts to track them down were futile, as their addresses are false. After some investigative work, we found several other unhapy customers, as well as past agents, who stated the company was aware they were selling dishonestly (and therefore, some agents quit listing for them). We lost all of our savings and want to prevent this happening to anyone else. Again, we have given them every opportunity to rectify this and were left with refusals, and instructions to take them to court.
