I purchased a ring online from on 3/21/2013 and from the picture I thought it looked like a nice ring that would be nice until I could get a better ring once me and my husband's finances improved.  The item# 16405 Sterling Silver CZ Heirloom Engagement Ring Size 10 (I have fat fingers) and was priced at $19.99 but there was a clearance coupon savings of $4.00 off of that then Regular Shipping/Handling was $5.99 so I paid a total of $21.98. 

I saw my husband's visa charged on that same day and so thought all was good the ring would be on its way......BUT I finally get a confirmation email at 5:42AM on 3/21/2013 with a order# W1242937 saying my item had begun processing.  Next thing I know I get a mobile banking text message from Chase saying the account was at a negative balance of $6.79.  I opened the account up on my mobile banking app and saw Limoges waited to charge the checking account on 3/28/2013. [continued below]....
.....  After contacting Limoges customer care line at 1-847-375-1326 and speaking to foreigners who could barely speaking English I was told that the first $21.98 was just a pre-authorization charge but it didn't hit the account until 3/28/13 but that was a bunch of BS  I shop online all the time and when the cards are charged they are really charged and the money is deducted immediately. 

I kept sending emails to see when was the jewely going to arrive and was told that it should be arriving shortly and that since it was coming to my PO Box I knew it had not been stolen or anything like that.  The ring finally arrives on 04/01/2013 okay let's do the math 3/21/2013-4/1/2013 that was 11 days wow!  My confirmation receipt said Non-personalized and select engraved items ship in up to 1 week.  Please allow up to 3 weeks of highly personalized items and note that items may ship separately.  Okay so I am at my PO Box sitting in the car with my hubby as he opens it and hands it to me it is so d**n! ugly and when I placed it on my finger it stood like 1/2 inch above my ring finger so it looked like I had a big key ring on and to add insult to injury one of the CZ's was missing and who ever packaged it had the audacity to put the loose CZ in the little plastic bag as if I was going to go have it repaired myself.  So I saw on the purchase order slip the return instructions and here is there return policy:  KEEP IN MIND I WANTED A FULL REFUND NO EXCHANGE...the ring was falsely advertised on their website the look on the site was not what I got in person....the RETURN and REFUND POLICY is:

Include your original Packing Slip or a note stating that you would like a refund. We recommend insuring the package before sending for your personal tracking purposes. You will be refunded your purchase total minus any shipping charges. If you paid by credit card, the credit will appear within 2 billing statements. Otherwise you should receive a check within 30 days of the credit being issued.

NOTE: If you are a Canadian Customer, please note that your credit amount will vary due to current exchange rates at the time of return.

On the shipping purchase slip it said if you receive your item/items damaged you will receive a full refund include shipping and handing...The saga continues


I did finally receive my refund of $15.99 on 4/8/2013 back to my hubby's Chase checking account and they did not honor the S/H fees I paid not to mention I had to pay another $2.97 to have it sent back to Limoges by the USPS in which it came.  So in retrospect they did honor my refund through deception of how much I would get back regardless of them sending me a item not like what I saw and the ring was damaged.  They retained $5.99 but nowadays companies could care less about postings like this they surely do not believe in Doing Unto Others as they would have Others Do Unto Them!  In Jesus name Amen I got some of my hubby's money back!
