In 2007 I invested $75,000 with Lincoln Logs, Intl.,located in Kannapolis, NC. d**k Schoff is the owner, don't know if he is still active, as he does not reach out with any type of communication.

I responded to a classified ad in an Oshkosh, WI newspaper, advertising "log home dealers needed." The meeting was at a local hotel, very vague, and I was instructed to fly to their office in Kannapolis for a meeting.

There were several people in the meeting; all prospective dealers. A brief overview of the business model was presented and we each received a 3 ring binder with information related to lincoln logs. To date; this is all I've recieved for my $75,000 investment.

Immediately following the meeting, I was led into a room with d**k Schoff and another man and strong armed into giving a $75,000 check.

The individual I met at the hotel in Oshkosh left the company shortly after due to not being paid, as well as ethical concerns he had regarding lincoln logs. The man who accepted my $75,000 check also left the company shortly after.

I've been in sales for years, and have managed in a Fortune 500 company. I'm a multiple six figure earner; I understand business.

d**k Schoff is a liar. He mentioned there would be quality leads provided. There are none. I asked for my money back on numerous occasions, and he simply says he will not refund. There is no communication from Lincoln Logs. They are a classic example of a high pressure scam. I was told if I did not invest the $75,000 the day I was in their office, I would not receive the "deal" they gave me.

Fact is, there is no deal.

There are multiple reports indicating the fraudulent activity of this company.

I'm looking for others who have been ripped off by this company to speak up and join forces in a class action suit.

According to the vague contract, I need to secure an attorney in Kannapolis in order to pursue recourse. If there is an attorney in Kannapolis who would like to discuss this case, please let me know.

Lincoln Logs is a dishonest organiztion, and I know there are several "dealers" who hve been misled. Let's bring justice to all who have been misled, lied to, and taken for thousands of dollars.
