Lincoln National Group, Inc. took $1800 and did nothing, Internet

Lincoln National Group is a fraudulent company.  I gave them $1800 to modify my loan.  They asked me to assemble a ton of paperwork, and all they did was fax it to my mortgage company.  I was awarded a forebarance agreement and a trial period where I was allowed to pay less than the full mortgage payment.

Lincoln National Group did not follow-up with the mortgage company, and, therefore, my loan modification file was closed.  I now owe the mortgage company thousands of dollars in back mortgage payments, and my credit is being destroyed.

I spoke to two individuals with the company.  One lady told me that their job was done because they "got me a loan modification." But, that is totally un-true.  I was awarded a trial period, not a permanent loan modification.  I am much worse off now than I was before I signed-up with Lincoln National Group.  I spoke to another employee, the salesman that hooked me, and he said that he thinks that Lincoln National Group is a terrible company, and he has since opened another company where he can really take care of his clients.  He then tried to convince me to spend another $1800 on his new company.

Since then, I have been in contact with my mortgage company, and they are working with me on my own.  You DO NOT need any company to help you get a loan modification.  All that company does is fax the mortgage company the documents that you tirelessly gather.  Loan modification companies are a scam.
