I was suckered into thinking that Liquidation.com was a reputable place to buy items in bulk for resale...boy was I wrong! Even after all the research I had done and "testimonials" I had read about how great their site was, I was still bilked out of nearly $300 by these crooks.

I'm an ebay PowerSeller and am always searching for QUALITY merchandise at rock-bottom prices to resell online. I checked out many so-called "wholesalers" and found that most sold cheap crap or wanted to do drop-shipping only...then I came across Liquidation.com and it looked very promising--I mean, if they are so well-known, they must be honest and reputable, right? WRONG!

As an experiment, I found a lot of 50 girls "namebrand" clothes that I was able to win for about $220--I figured that was a good deal since the auction stated that the lot would contain all name-brand clothes, like Baby Phat, Ralph Lauren, Guess, Calvin Klein, etc....when the shipment finally arrived (they didn't bother to tell me when it would ship and I had to email them to get a shipment date) most of the clothes were nothing but Macy's storebrand (greendog!) There was ONE pair of girls Guess jeans, but wouldn't you know it, it still had the plastic rectangular security tag on it!

I contacted Liquidation.com and filed a dispute, stating that the merchandise wasn't even close to what it was advertised as (I even included a photo of the jeans with the security tag.) The replied about 10 days later stating:

"Thank you for the information you have provided for the dispute of transaction 12XXXXX. After a careful and thorough investigation, unfortunately your dispute claim cannot be honored for the following reasons:

Support docs received do not validate your claims for the name brand pieces. The one unit with the security tag is covered under the qty variance listed on the auction page.

All parties must abide by the dispute resolution provided by Liquidation.com as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

The status for transaction 12XXXXX has been moved to "Paying Seller" and the funds will be released to the seller. Should you have questions, please call our Buyer Relations Department at 800-498-1909.

Thank you,
Liquidation.com Dispute Team"

I replied back asking them why they never followed up with me to get more details (like it said they would on the dispute form) and I never heard from them again.

So now I'm stuck with a box of Macy's cheap $8.98 clothes and a pair of Guess jeans that I cannot sell. Thanks, Liquidation.com!
