March 2, 2013 - driving my Honda Civic 2010 (HC10) and had a problem with oil light coming on. Pulled over immediately to call HondaCare (CCMC) for towing.

March 3, 2013 - go into Lithia Springs Team Honda to inquire about rental car right when dealership opened. Informed that I couldn't get a rental since their rental company wasn't open on Sundays. After telling representative that I am a single mom and NEEDED something to drive out since I was promised with Honda Care that I would have this service, the salesman suggested selling me a new car. I was okay with that since I had so many problems with the previous vehicle.

Over the course of the next few hours - my HC10 was delivered to lot on tow truck. Dealership was aware that car was disabled.

I select a Honda Civic 2013 (HC13). I am given a trade-in value for the HC10; given terms for financing; and sent on my way.

March 4, 2013 - I am called 20 times from sales person, sales manager, general manager, my insurance company, and service department from Lithia Springs Team Honda.  The dealership found that Honda Care did not cover damage to vehicle, reported damage to my insurance (as me) which was no longer on vehicle.

Over the course of the day, I am told that I will face repossession, that I am incurring fees, that they want "their" car back, etc.  They say that the engine is blown and that I no longer have a deal. Then they state I didn't get financing and that is why deal is no good.

Scared that I am not going to have a car and not wanting this dealership to ruin my credit, I finally give in and allow repairs from insurance.  Dealership is still insisting that there is engine damage.

Today (March 11, 2013) I find out that all repairs to car (HC10) were from visible damage that was blatantly available to the dealership at time of trade - in.

They strong armed me into paying for a mistake that the sales manager and salesperson made.  I paid 1,000 more than the price of the car (per the contract).  I am a single mother and every penny counts. I was not going into this place to buy a car, I only wanted first car repaired.

The dealership called my insurance as though they were me to make repairs behind my back.  I only finally agreed because of all of the harassing calls, the threats, and the fear of not being able to return to work so that I could provide for both my daughter and me.
