Second, You have been WARNED about this SCAM, and if you're reading this before you make a purchase, or do any business with the above companies, you just save yourself a TON of money, hassle, and dealings with SCAM artist from these companies.

Just as you may have heard about the scams in the WINE and LIQUOR business, so too the SCAMS are there in the ART world.  But this is WAY-BIGGER than wine sector.  First, there is very little regulation, and the company that is selling the FAKE items, they assume you did not do your home work.  And when they get caught with the SCAM as I have seen, they tell you 'we will give you your money back" - --- but GUESS WHAT --- that is ONLY after you spend hundred of dollars getting the ART verified --- so you're out of money from this scam at the end of the day.

Beside avoiding to buy from these SCAM ARTIST, I would suggest that you buy from a local, reputable dealer, and if you have to buy from an auction - try Phillips and CHristies, etc --- they stand behind their art work even after 5+Years...so you have lots of time to check it out - instead of the 30-days or 14 days these SCAM artist give you when you buy from them.

Also, when these SCAM company list their art, it is THEIR responsibility to validate the CoA.  When they place the listing in online auction, unless it is sold AS-IS, they are representing that the art and CoA is REAL....and some time it is not.

No only is it true that here is no "SANDY GRAYSON" from St. Petersburg gallary, but there is no SANDY GRAYSON from ANY Gallary --- this is 100% FAKE COA.  Take a look at the signature I was able to obtain -- and see how they show FORGERY from these fake companies.

I am placing this report because even after I ask the company to remove the FAKE listing, they refuse!

Another port of the SCAMS these companies are doing is, they inflate the 'ESTIMATE' cost of the ART so you think you're getting a good deal, and after you take th art for appriaisal, it is typical to see, an art piece they estimate at $10K to $15K - only have a real value of $200 to 400 dollars.  This is becaue these companies have 'estimators' who have no qualification, and they are never certify, or a member of any appraisal organization.  

In some cases I have fount out the 'estimator' are the same people who are doing their "packing and shipping' :)  --- YES VERY AMAZING.

BUYERs BE VERY AWARE OF THESE SCAMS.  ONLINE ART AUCTION CAN BE FUN, but PLEASE DEAL WITH A COMPANY WHO REPUTATION IS KNOWN.
