Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Upon purchasing our new home with Lombardo here in Michigan, we were signed on with Loancare Mortgage. Thinking that they were an ordinary mortgage company we signed on with them. Just like many other clients here on this sight, Loancare bought out the mortgage that was previously provided to us through Lombardo.

Our problems started with them when we received a phone call on the 5th of the month asking about payment when it wasn't due until the 15th. We explained that we would pay on the website and that it's far too early to receive a phone cal for this matter. They said that if we paid after the 5th on the internet ther would be a $5.00 charge and after the 10th it would be another fee. But if you MAILED it in before the 15th there would be no fee. What kind of policy is this to practice with customers?

So we mail the payment on the 5th of the month thinking that it should take no more than a few days to get there, we are told up until the 13th of that month that they had not received it. Then on the 14th it is deposited to the account. Other customers on here have stated they wait until the last minute to deposit your check while you risk getting a late notice on payment. Another fraudulent practice.

We get a letter in the mail on April 11th 2013 stating that we have over paid in our payments by $3K and that we will receive the refund 20 days after receipt of that later. 20 days later no refund in mail. We call them about it on May 15th and they say that it was mailed on May 10th. Called back 2 days later and was told that it was mailed on the 15th.

Then we were told that if we dont get it by June 10th then call back and they will send it by 2 day express. Here it is June 11th and still no check in the mail. We call to complain and they say that they will have to send out a stop pay on the original check and investigate to see if that check had been compromised. That process would take an additional 7 to 10 business days.

These practices seem to be blatant and fraudulant. If I could get to another mortgage company with the same rate, Iwould do it in a minute. How do you stay in business with such poor customer service? I a member of the armed forces and really hate how as a soldier, I fight for the freedom of our country to treat each other like trash. All I want is what they promised to me by mail. When has MAIL ever taken over 45 days to be delivered? I could have driven to Virginia and back in one day to pick up the check. They do not have a way for the check to be direct deposited into my account. If you are behind the times then competition should put you out of business.

Looking for an answer please!
