 We bought our house and chose a lender called Embrace home loans, we had no issues with them. Then last spring they decided to let loancare start managing their accounts, ever since then we have had nothing but issues. First during the switch over loancare mis-handled a payment making it appear that we had not paid. This resulted in us loosing our homeowners insurance and having to sign up with another company who charges more. It also resulted in a payment for our mortage having to be paid out of our escrow account. Each month we pay at roughly the same time (before the due date) but they consistantly call us each month with an ivestigative call as to when we are going to pay them. In these calls they do not portray them as reminders or just checking they press for info to the point of harrassment. Since they mis-handled that payment last spring when an escrow assessment was done on our loan this winter we looked like we would be short. All of this results in a $90 per month increase in our payments.

While mistakes happen, rude customer service reps do not have empathy and lack the knowledge to explain things propperly. I will be looking to refinance with a different company just so I no longer have to deal with them.
