Lobel Financial Ripped Me Off Sacramento California

I am so upset at the fact that my car was repossed after the fact that I had spoke to Sylvia at Lobel Financial, because I had made a payment and fell behind due to an injury I had been out of work and waiting for my disability. Sylvia stated that I can make 1/2 that day 10/8/07 and then pay the other 1/2 the following friday 10/12/07, so I paid $400 on or about 10/8/07 and the following day at work they picked up my car from job. I was stranded with no vehicle to get home, my kids were at home, had to get a ride and they have now served me at an address that was not valid to get a settlement and I just found out that they are trying to garnish my wages due to me not showing up in court, which I did not have any knowledge of until 11/08, it has ruined my credit and I am having a hard time trying to purchase another vehicle, due to my credit and lobel having this repossession on my credit. Please help, I am trying to find out what my options are since I was not properly served.

I have read alot of these stories and they all sound similar to mine, we can't all be wrong.
