Localnet ripoff Amherst New York

My wife and I had an internet account with localnet. In April of 2006 we had to move and cancelled the account. They said that we had to send a notice in writing to cancel the acount. We sent the notice stateing that we were moving and to cancel the account as well as our moving address, after sending the notice then I was told that it was suppose to be recieve before the 8th of the month and get billed on the 15th. The 15th of April came around and localnet billed the account that we told them was closed. Localnet is billing us for the month of April and charging us for there over draft fees as well as our old bank is charging us for the payment plus the overdaft. When I called back to complain about the overdraft fees with localnet they claimed that they can't send a paper bill. Then told me that we need to pay them soon or they would take us to court to get the money.
