i have had the exact opposite experience with lone mountain.  everything was on the up and up.

what is not said here is that lone mountain asks that the purchaser take the truck to get a dyno and complete dot inspection done  at a place of their choice.   of course the purchaser pays for this himself,  which is not out of the ordinary.

if any problems are found , they will repair at their shop.  it is absolutely ludicrous to think with their own mechanics on hand they should pay any other shop for repairs at time truck is purchased.

evidently many are to afraid to spend the money to DOT the truck themselves.   they evidently have enough for the down payment and that is all.  the truth is, if you go buy a truck and are that close on reserve money you have no business buying a truck to begin with,

lone mountain provides financing for some that cant get financed anywhere else  and also in cases where someone has the down payment but doesnt wish to tie up an available credit line.

with the payment being 100 per cent deductible it is a big help,   if you didnt check out the truck well beforehand you have no one but yourself to blame. 

honestly, how many of you know truck dealers who ask, encourage you to take the truck to an independent shop to be checked out????    none but lone mountain that i know of.
