We bought a truck from a dealer in Elk Grove california in september 2006. Signed a finance deal with them and were told our payment paper work would be sent to us .
More than a month went by and nothing happened.

We called Nissan of Elk grove and nobody knew anything.
We called back after 7 weeks of the time we bought the vehicle and were then informed that the loan was sold to Long Beach acceptanc corp.

We contacted them and were rudely informed that they sent us paperwork 3 times and 3 times it was returned to them. They kept sending the papers to our fisical adress and not our p.o.box.

We live in the mountains where we get 20 feet of snow and the post office does not deliver here. Our p.o.box was on all the paperwork but Long beach acceptance could not figure that out.

We immediately made a payment as soon as we found out who to. Next we get a statement with insurance charges on it and late fees. The insurance charges I tried to clear up by getting a statement from geico that had long beach as lien holder listed on it , I faxed it to them and still they kept sending us statements with insurance charges on it.

The late charges I adressed with 3 different people and finally a supervisor that told me to grow up and 1the whole thing was our problem and we better pay up .
Nice , after we found them they are now sticking it to us ?

It turns out they think that we owe them a payment for the first month that they weren't spiffy enough to get the paperwork to us so now every payment we make to them they push the payment back one month and tack on another late fee.

This morning again by the collection supervisor my wife was told to grow up and pay up and I quote ''You better check your contract '' even though we never signed a contract with this company.

To sum up our experience after sometimes getting 2 or 3 calls a day from long beach acceptance and being called immature and several other things ,we are acutely looking for another finance company to take over this loan.

The customer reps. and especially the supervisors at long beach are rude and out of line to say the least and we are tired of getting slammed with charges that are unfounded.

My wife and I are both in the customer service industry and if we were to tell our customers any of the things we heard from long beach acceptance we would both be out of a job .

What a horrible experience and how do people like this stay in business?

Thanks
Very unhappy Maarten
